Leh Ladakh,Kashmir

Ladakh is a union area in the Kashmir region of India. Earlier in the Jammu and Kashmir region, Ladakh was given union territory on October 31, 2019. From the Siachen Glacier to the Great Himalayas, Ladakh is a unique country. With so many attractions to visit and beautiful landscapes, amazing people and cultures, Ladakh is truly a heaven on Earth. It is said that only in Ladakh is a man sitting in the sun with his feet in the shade suffering from heat and cold at the same time.

Stunning Gompas (Tibetan Buddhist monks), prayer flags waved, stupas painted, Ladakh is a clutter of intricate circular paintings and monks in red robes. Known as the coldest desert in the world, glaciers, sand dunes, and cold winds make up a spectacular landscape. Driven by a culture similar to Tibetan culture, the people of Ladakh are friendly and hospitable.

For those of us who live in constant confusion about the differences between these twin locations, Leh-Ladakh, here is what can help. Ladakh is divided into two regions: Leh district, and Kargil district. The former district has the famous city of "Leh" and attracts a lot of tourists because of its beautiful monasteries, beautiful landscapes, and exciting markets that define local culture.

Ladakh is a playground for climbing adventure, jeeps tours, rafting and hiking. Note that Leh Ladakh is not accessible by road except during the summer months. The road passes almost completely from October to May, and the only access route to the left is air.
